Original painting of a couple of my old phoenix chickens--Old Silver (aka Big Boy) and blue-band, a silver phoenix hen I had for many years. Old Silver's tail got caught in the wind, which is one of my favorite things to photograph and paint. 16x25" Acrylic and ink on wood panel, lots of iridescent gold sheen on this one. Comes varnished and ready to hang, no need to frame!
